Try a cold brewed Yerba Mate tea. The brewing process is similar to making sun tea, and the caffeine in Yerba mate will give you a nice “lifted” effect.
Cold Brewed method:
-1 part yerba mate tea
-five parts cold water
-add peppermint tea or citrus rind for extra flavor
-steep for 18-24 hours in the refrigerator
-strain and enjoy or mix with juice or lemonade
Store Refrigerated for up to 3 -4 weeks
-served cold, sometimes mixed with berries or other fruits and shaken
-a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up
-Quick hot brew method: any coffee brewing system will work, usually about the same amount by volume of yerba tea as you would use coffee.
-Raspberry– lemonade -Yerba mate :
6oz of yerba mate cold brewed tea
6oz lemonade
½ cup raspberries (fresh or frozen )
Blend in blender without ice ( creates a nice froth)
Serve over ice, enjoy and get lifted!!
